It is highly probable to be the most known film director from Spain is Pedro Almodóvar after Luis Buñuel. I just watched the last film Los abrazos rotos of this nice friend of ours.
It was the most terriblestest Almodóvar film I have ever seen. It was not a terrible film but the most terrible of Almodóvar. The casting are familiar from the films such as Matador or Volver. First, Penelope Cruz leads the acting-indignity but the scenario has no matter already. The most and only interesting point of the film is the blind director, but I cannot be surpried after Hollywood Ending (2002) by Woody Allen.
Whatever. I always impressed by use of homosexuality frequently, in style and aesthetical, in Almodóvar films. He always did well with normalization progress of homosexuality into audience's mind. But this time he failed with it too. I may not be a homosexual, but I want to watch your films, and not to be insulted
Here is what I want to mean, homosexuality is exaggerated in this film, this time. I suggest you a retro! Besides I did not understand that why this film is praised so much... Because in my opinion it is not Almodóvaresque, and perhaps, is the worst film of him.
