The lovely, ehm, sorry,the lonely cowboy Lucky Luke is known as Red-Kit in Turkey, it must because of his red scarf.
The government retributed a theatre play named "Korkuyu beklerken - Waiting for Dread" by Oğuz Atay, because of the smoking scene in it. Naturally, the artists and intellectualists stroke back to this enforcementt, after. Then, the Minister of Culture defined that the retribution was forced because it is a bad guide behaviour to smoke in front of children. "Be hey dürzü", what does a kid, which can be affected by these "bad behaviors", do there with watching that play? Likewise if an actor wouldn't do his act, what should he/she do then? Or who would do the wishes of themselves? But nobody thinks about censoring. I did not see, at least. A government, which talks about democracy, would proove their words are empty, only by these kind of forcements.
It is censoring to art by the reason "ban of smokes", today; but tomorrow it will be censoring love scenes by the reason "exhibitionism". Myword.
The clever minister also says "they can pattern of Lucky Luke.. The author of Lucky Luke *made him quit smoking and gave him a stem." So this is how you imagining of art. If the Minister of Culture has this kind of imagining of art, then the entire cabinet have some good stuff tho smoke. You may take your democracy and go the USA, Honduras or Iran. There kitty kityy!
